Baseball Adds Logan MacDougall To Roster For 2017-18 Season

The University of Winnipeg Wesmen and head baseball coach Morgan de Pena are pleased to announce that Logan MacDougall (Summerside, Prince Edward Island) has committed to play for the Wesmen Men's Baseball team starting in the 2017-2018 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) season.

MacDougall, a 6-0 3rd base and shortstop recently completed his education at Three Oaks Senior high where he was an honour roll student every year. A proud member of the Provincial team program, he suited up for the Team PEI Youth Selects (2015-2016) and will participate in the 2017 Canada Summer games playing both baseball and volleyball.

A multi - sport athlete he also excels in basketball, badminton and softball. He was selected the Three Oaks Senior High Athlete of the Year in grades 10-11 and is involved with leadership and athletics council.

"A very skilled multi-sport athlete, Logan will be in his 3rd year with the PEI Youth Selects Provincial team. He is a competitive player with a track record of helping his team win big games. Logan has a strong baseball IQ and a very high ceiling talent-wise, and we are eager to get his mix of talent and competitiveness into our program", said Morgan de Pena head coach Wesmen Men's Baseball program.
