Labatt League News

Player of the Week will be announced each Monday, and an e-mail will be sent to all player reps and alternate contacts. Nominations for Player of the Week will also be accepted. Please include as much information as possible about the player – and why you think he should be chosen as the Labatt Super Men’s League Player of the Week. All nominations must be in on Friday. The player of the week will be chosen from games Sunday through Thursday.

Week 18 (March 4 – March 10) Yacine Bara - Bullets - "Sterling" Division 2. Yacine poured in 29 points including seven three-pointers to help lead the Bullets to a 79-62 victory over the Fundamentals on March 6th.

Week 17 (Feb 25 – March 3) Alex Kamaklov - St.Vital Sloth - "Kokanee Gold" Division 1. Alex scored 35 points, including 8 three-pointers for the Sloth in an 86-74 loss to the Studs on March 24th.

Week 16 (Feb 18 – 24) Mike McDonald - Bricklayers - "Classic" Division 7 . Mike was on fire scoring a game high 31 points to lead the Bricklayers to a 69-55 victory against the Rounders on Feb 24th.

Week 15 (Feb 11-17) Patrick Gatsby - Rimlickers - "Pony Corral" Division 4. Patrick scored 29 points, including 19 in the second half to lead the Rimlickers to an 80-61 victory over So Sweet on Feb 17th.

Week 14 - Feb 4 - Feb 10 Jon Lundgren - Pipes - "Sterling" Division 2. John was simply amazing in scoring a league high 42 points to lead the Pipes to an 98-61 victory over the Kingsmen on Feb 17th.

Week 13 - Jan 28 - Feb 3 - Derrick Shore - St.Vital Sloth - "Kokanee Gold" Division 1- Derrick had a solid game scoring 35 points to lead the St.Vital Sloth to a big 77-58 victory against the Raiders , February 2nd.

Week 12 - Jan 21 - Jan 27 - Ryan Anderson - Kareem Bros - "Bud" Division 5 - Ryan scored 36 points including four-three pointers to help the Kareem Bros. in a 86-70 win against the St.Boniface Cyclones.

Week 11 - Jan 14 - Jan 20 - Nicholas Statcos Fort Garry Phantoms - "Blue" Division 6 ... Nicholas scored 25 pts including three-3pointers and several key free throws to lead the Fort Garry Phantoms to a 79-63 victory over the Detlef Schrempf Experiment .

Week 10 - Jan 5 - Jan 13 - Dave Nykoluck from Rim Lickers - "Pony Corral" Division 4.... Dave scored 38 points including six three-pointers to lead the Rim Lickers to a 92-70 victory over the Tigers on January 5th, 2005.
