Labatt League News
The 2004-2005 Season is just around the corner. The general information meeting has been set for Thursday Sept. 8, 2005 at 7 pm in room 2D12. This meeting is for all team reps and any interested individuals to outline the upcoming year. The new will bring some exciting changes including a new website and professional standing and statistics packages. Stay tuned to this site for more information
General Information
When: Mid October - Late March (2005-06 season begins Wed. Oct. 12th) , mostly Sunday Mornings, Sunday afternoons, Monday eves, Wednesday eves, Thursday eves with limited Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights as required. Teams may request a maximum of 2 times that their teams are unable to play on the registration form
Where: University of Duckworth Centre 400 Spence St.
What : 14 league games plus playoffs in approx. 7 divisions, officiated by certified officials (M.A.B.O.) and university staff as socrekeepers
Cost: $1500 / team ($100 default fee). Fees may ONLY be paid by Mastercard or Visa. The same credit card will used to pay and receive default fees as required.
Weekly scores and any league info will be sent out every Friday. If any other players would like to be on the e-mail list please send your address to s.appelle@uwinnipeg.ca.
Aspiring sports scribes take note! The Labatt Super Men’s Basketball League will post any game reports sent our way ( s.appelle@uwinnipeg.ca ) on the website. No more than 300 words please, and if you would like to send a digital photo of some game action, please do so as well.
If you are an individual looking to get on to a team or a team looking for an individual to round out your roster please email your information to Sheldon as he is keeping a list of players and teams that are looking.

Winnipeg Outfitters is the official uniform supplier to the Labatt Super Senior Men's Basketball League - Contact Mike Chapman at mikec@outfitters.ca to get your team uniforms before the Season starts.
