Wesmen Playoffs at Home (Feb 20)
Women's Volleyball 1:00 pm - The Wesmen Women played an exciting match #3 but came up just short as the Alberta Pandas prevailed 3-2. Even with the loss the Wesmen will get the 4th spot in the Canada West Final Four.

Women's Basketball 3:00 pm - The Wesmen Women drop a 63-58 deciding game decision to the Victoria Vikes. They will now use their host spot in the National Championships, here March 11-13.

Men's Volleyball 8:00 pm (Trinity Western) - The Wesmen Men's season came to abrupt end last night (Feb 18) as they lost their playoff series to Trinity Western on the road.

JoAnne Wells Named Canada West Athlete of the Week (Feb 15) - JoAnne, the CIS scoring leader with 24.3 ppg and the heart and soul of the Wesmen scored 22 points, hauled in 12 boards and dished off three assists in leading the #2 Wesmen to a 63-56 home victory over the #4 Victoria Vikes this past Friday evening. Saturday, against the #3 UBC Thunderbirds, JoAnne had one of her greatest games of the season scoring 32 points on 14-of-19- shooting, pulling down nine rebounds and adding four assists and three steals as she led the Wesmen to a 77-61 victory.

WESMEN WIN DUCKWORTH CHALLENGE (Jan. 29) The Wesmen Men's and Women's Basketball teams both defeated the Bisons to take the annual Duckworth Challenge for 2005. The women won 68-60 while the men won 86-70 getting 41 points from Erfan Nasajpour. detailed results

Wesmen vs Bisons Volleyball, Round Two (Jan. 29) The Wesmen Men's and Women's Volleyball teams played against the Bisons for a second consecutive night. The results were identical as they were on Friday night. The Men lost 3-1 and the Women defeated the Bisons 3-0.

Duckworth Challenge Begins! (Jan. 28) The annual Duckworth Challenge got off on the right foot as the Women's Volleyball team defeated the Bisons 3-0. The Wesmen train then got derailed as the Men lost a hard fought battle to the Bisons 1-3. That makes the score in the annual Duckworth Challenge, heading into tomorrow 's basketball games, 1-1. The Wesmen basketball teams will try to secure the Duckworth Challenge crown tomorrow at Manitoba . Meanwhile the Wesmen and Bisons volleyball teams will go at it again at the U of W.

Santa Delivers "Miracle" Present to the Wesmen (Dec 30) Before Christmas Santa promised a "miracle" win in this year's Wesmen Classic. It was no miracle as the young Wesmen played 3 inspired games and looked like a veteran team on their way to winning the 2004 MTS Mobility Wesmen Classic Championship. Aboriginal Youth Win (Nov. 25) Tonight the Wesmen hosted the Brandon Bobcats but the real winners of the Night were the fans. Over 2000 fans packed the Duckworth Centre on Aboriginal Youth Night. Group after group were there to make noise and show their team spirit. The groups with the most team spirit and best banners won major cash prizes for their group. 1st place and $2000 went to Isaac Brock School2nd Place and $1500 went to Hampstead Schooland 3rd Place money of $500 went to Children of the Earth School. In the games themselves the Wesmen Women defeated the Bobcats 75-42 and the Men lost 88-66
