WESMEN SUMMER CAMPS
July - August
The University of Winnipeg has over 39 years of experience in offering basketball and volleyball summer camps. These camps have always featured excellent instruction by the Wesmen coaching staff, top high school coaches and elite Wesmen players.

CAMP FEATURES

• all sessions are conducted in the best training centre in the Province.....The University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre
• Practice and play anywhere from 15 to 30 hours depending on the camp you choose.
• Low player/coach ratio to maximize individual attention
• everyone plays, no try outs, players are grouped by grade and ability.
• games and drills are modified so everyone can have fun and improve
• everyone receives an official University of Winnipeg camp t-shirt.
• some sessions may be combined to allow you to schedule both basketball and volleyball on the same day
• parental input is welcomed and appreciated
• basketball and volleyball campers receive a University of Winnipeg basketball or volleyball at no extra charge

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Multi-Sport All-Day Camp
Instruction and fun in basketball, volleyball, racquet sports, swimming as well as other sports, 8:30-5:00 pm, boys and girls grades 5-9.

Basketball Shooting Camps
Become a better shooter by using video, "breakdown" drills, and individualized instruction for boys and girls Grades 6 to 12.

Girls Basketball Super Camp
Great opportunity to work and spend time with elite Wesmen players and coaching staff. This All-Day camp features both individual and team instruction as well as tournament play each evening. Participants will receive a Wesmen t-shirt, practice gear and basketball. Lunch and dinner is also provided each day. Session #17, Grades 7-10, Aug. 2-5 (4 days), 8:30 am - 9:00 pm, Tues- Thurs., Friday 8:30-6:00 pm. Cost is $325.

Co-ed Boys and Girls Basketball Grades 1-5 and Volleyball Camps Grades 4-6
Focus will be on lead-up skills in learning to play the game of basketball and volleyball. Lots of fun activities will encourage players to learn the basic fundamentals of the game.

Basketball or Volleyball All-Day Camps
Instruction and fun in an all-day camp with a focus on either basketball or volleyball, see specific camps for gender and age breakdown. 8:30-5:00 pm,

Create Customized All-Day Camps.
Create an allday boys camp by combining camps marked with a star or an allday girls camp by combining camps marked with a diamond."

STAFF
The University of Winnipeg Summer Camp Program is managed by full time professional basketball and volleyball coaches.

The staff are professionally trained university coaches, successful high school coaches and university players who are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the improvement and well being of each camper.

REGISTRATION (ALL REGISTRATION IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS)
Enrollment is limited so please be sure to register early. A confirmation receipt will be mailed to you. The University of Winnipeg may cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. All campers in cancelled sessions will be phoned and given the chance to choose an alternate session or receive a full refund for the cancelled session.

Complete and return the registration form. Refunds will be permitted up to May 31; however, there will be a service charge of $20 on ALL refunds. It is acceptable to send a substitute in your place or choose an alternate session where space is available.
