WINNIPEG, SEPTEMBER 7- The University of Winnipeg and Wesmen Athletics are pleased to announce the appointment of Sheldon Appelle as their new Sports Information Coordinator.
Sheldon will be responsible for communicating sports information across the country to the media and the CIS institutions. Another responsibility that Sheldon will have is to be the Commissioner of the Labatt Super Men’s Basketball Leageu that is now in its third season operating out of the University of Winnipeg.
Sheldon brings with him a wealth of experience in this field from his position with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. As the reporter for bluebombers.com he is responsible for writing game previews and recaps for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club.
The Wesmen are excited to have Sheldon join “Your Real Home Team”.
