On the men’s side the team will be playing matches against the Great Plains and River City All-Star teams. One lucky fan will win an XBOX Gaming System at Friday Night's matches

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

The women’s team had a very busy week. Last Thursday evening the team took on the Wesmen Alumni in the annual Alumni Game. The team played very well in defeating the Alumni three games to one. The following morning the team boarded a bus to Regina to take part in the Cougar Invitational Tournament at the University of Regina. The Wesmen got off to a great start on Friday as they won both of their matches against Saskatchewan and their cross- town rivals, University of Manitoba. Unfortunately Saturday and Sunday were not as good for the team as they dropped all three games on the weekend to finish the tournament in fourth place.

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Larry McKay’s team has been declared for the upcoming 2004/2005 season. The team had a chance to get into a game situation by challenging the Alumni team in the annual Alumni Challenge. The team played very well and showed that they will be a force this year. The alumni team won the contest in five tough sets.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Coach Tanya McKay is getting her squad ready for the 2004/2005 season. The team took part in the annual intra-squad game last Wednesday and they put on a great show for the Wesmen supporters and of course they're own families. Even though it was only a “fun” game, the girls showed their competitive nature against each other. If the team is this competitive in regular season games then they will be a team to look out for. On Wednesday the team will take on the Wesmen Alumni in the annual alumni challenge.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Coach Dave Crook had a chance to see his team in action as they participated in the annual intra-squad game. The game was highly competitive and the team already looks improved from last year. On Wednesday the team will be taking on the Wesmen Alumni in the annual Alumni Challenge.
